The Writer in Question

OK, I’m a 23 year old girl/lady/female person with a degree in English who just got out of childcare and into funenployment. I’m originally from Florida, but have spent the last few years blissfully and hedonistically living in New Orleans, so I’m clearly dejected to be back in Florida with nothing to show for it.

Surely you can’t be a total idiot for chasing one’s dream? Or was that just my proximity to Disney World talking?

Let’s hope things don’t get much worse.

  1. Hi, thanks for visiting and following my blog. I like the question you pose in your tagline: Does anyone have what it takes to break into writing? I certainly don’t know the answer to that, and I’ve got a good decade plus of age on you. 🙂

I say follow that dream until you find something new to follow. Now is probably the best time even in the history of publishing to be a writer.

  2. Hi,

I’m writing on behalf of http://www.fluxforum.com. We’re a relatively new blog that features different stories from people about their experiences growing up.

I have been following your blog, and I really admire your writing. I was wondering if you would consider cross-posting something for our site, as a guest writer? We would of course keep you anonymous or use whatever name you prefer. I can send you more info if you’re interested.

    Let me know!

    Best,

    Nur
